Man, 25, Swindles A Woman of GH¢ 8,000 Cedis

Twenty-five (25) year-old, Peter Agyekum has swindled an amount of GH¢8,000 cedis belonging to Etwereso Hemaa, a woman he works for.

Peter Agyekum a former student of Tepa Senior High School in the Ahafo Region, lives at Kasoa Downtown in the Awutu Senya Municipality of the Central Region where he works as Mobile Money attendant but has since absconded with the money.

Etwereso Hemaa shared on her Facebook Wall how the incident happened, “Last year I took a loan of GH¢10,000 cedis to operate Mobile money business because it’s difficult to depend on one source of income and more also create job for someone of which I employed Peter Agyekum an SS graduate only for him to abscond with everything leaving only the container behind.”

She disclosed that the case has since been reported to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command. Information available to First1News indicates that the Police have begun investigation into the issue.

Hemaa is calling on the general public to help her trace Peter Agyekum to get her money back.
