Kaneshie Police Nabbed Two Robbers For Attacking Lady At Awudome

Two young men by name James Annan and Ebenezer Torto are in the grips of the Kaneshie Police Command in the Greater Accra Region for allegedly attacking a young lady at Awudome in an attempt to rob her.

According to the Police in the early hours of Saturday 6:00 a.m. on April, 25, 2020, James Annan and Ebenezer Torto on board of a blue Royal motor bike with the registration number M-20-Great 9695 suddenly stopped a lady on her way to work around the St Theresa Catholic Church Church at Awudome. They pulled a knife on the victim demanding for money and her mobile phone.

The complaint who unfortunately sustained injury in a struggle attempted to escape after felling to the ground. She shouted for help and residents within the area came to her aid. The suspects were immediately arrested and sent together with the motor ride to the Kaneshie Police Station for investigation.

The victim has been referred to a nearby hospital for treatment following bodily injuries she sustained from the knife inflicted on some parts of her body.

The Kaneshie Police station say the two would be sent to court soon to face the law.
