The Flagbearer and founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor is currently looking for a running mate for the 2020 elections.
Madam Akua Donkor says, “The person must be ready to pay 50,000 Ghana cedis before he or she can be considered for the slot.”
The Ghana Freedom Party was founded by Akua Donkor, a farmer with its national headquarters at Kebu in the Akuapem North Municipality. This was largely to help her ambitions to become the first female President of Ghana.
She was disqualified by the Electoral Commission of Ghana from contesting the in the 2012 general elections as an independent candidate.
Madam Akua Donkor was in court recently for fraud and was granted bail in the sum of Gh12, 000.00 by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Court.
She is believed to have sold a 33-acre parcel of land, belonging to her family, at the cost of GH₵10,500.00 to one Faustina Yeboah,
Faustina Yeboah later found out that the property does not belong to her, but she has refused to pay back the money.
She is expected to appearance before the Court presided over by Miss Mary Nsenkyire on March 10, 2020.
